Brackenbury House , 2021, London, United Kingdom

Concept Design Studies for the extension and refurbishment of a Victorian house.
The house is located in the heart of Hammersmith’s beautiful Brackenbury Village and needs a more comfortable rear extension with a new kitchen. The attic space is to be extended to provide a spare room for guests and/or the occasional work from home!

The proposal includes an exposed timber structure to support the new glazed roof. The beams are designed to be radial as an open fan, to connect to the three sides. The deep timber beams act as louvres to provide shading.
